Hello out there, students (and possibly teachers looking at this site)! Welcome!
The new year is upon us (August 24th) and it is time to get started. Dust off those textbooks, put away the sunscreen, and start getting back into your school year routine. Mid terms will be here sooner than you think. And those of you taking the AP exam, well, there never is enough time now, is there?
As this is my first year at Somerset Academy, I want to start things off right. I wanted to give you all the tools you need to succeed in my class and to excel on those standardized tests that are coming your way, too. That is what Ricard Academy is for – to help.
Now, I know – couldn’t I have thought of a better name for the place? Well, no. I’m not that imaginative. And being a part time megalomaniac (AP students, write that word down…) certainly hurts my chances at mod…mod…modesty. See, I could barely type the word.
But in all seriousness, this site is for you – to give you extra help. Below there are three boxes, each will take you to a subject that I teach (Latin I, AP Euro, AP Art History). Perhaps you are in only one of my classes – why? – find the appropriate link below and take a look at the subsequent page. I have created a blog for each subject that I am teaching so that you can have a central hub for the activities in class.
Well, that is if for now. Go read or something. Put down that Xbox controller and get back into the swing of school.
