Study Materials
Resources_Flash Cards Template – very useful in creating your own vocabulary flash cards. Easy to create – just add the information on the template where it is asked for.
Stokstad’s Art History (3 ed.) Study Site – a great tool to aid students for studying the material found in the textbook. Has all sorts of materials including practice essays, quizzes, and images. Make it your best friend!
AP Sample Test – taken from another website, this is a pretty good example of an AP Exam that is multiple choice. The questions are based on the images provided and you can click on whatever answer you like and get instant feedback. Keep taking this test over and over to get familiar with the materials and review some of the terminology of an art historian.
Research and Writing Tools
Research Tools: Bibliographies, Essays, and Citations – This website has several documents in .pdf format which will give you lots of information on research techniques and sources.
The Elements of Style – A free, online textbook on how to write argumentative essays. Check it out and gain some more ideas about writing.
